29th Edition of the Moore Guldensporenmeeting – The Battle Returns on the Track

In 2026, Koninklijke Kortrijk Sport (KKS) celebrates an impressive 125 years, and we mark this milestone with a spectacular edition of the Moore Guldensporenmeeting. This international athletics meeting has long been a highlight within the sport, once again bringing an outstanding field of world-class athletes to the track in Kortrijk.

Previous editions featured memorable performances by stars such as Nafi Thiam, Jonathan Sacoor, Ellie Bacari, Rani Vincke and Dylan Borlée, who used Kortrijk as preparation for major international championships. This year promises to be just as thrilling, with top athletes ready to chase records and write new chapters in athletics history.

In 2026, the meeting holds special significance: it takes place on 11 July, the day of the historic Battle of the Golden Spurs, and coincides with the 125th anniversary of KKS.
