Flaxmuseum
The museum, which is housed in a 19th century flax farm, shows how flax cultivation, processing and handling in Flanders changed over time. In the second wing, you can wander through a unique collection of lace and linen. Sixteen tableaux show the use of lace and decorative linen in the lives of Flemish folk from the cradle to the grave. An old flax-worker's inn has been re-created in the farmer's dwelling.
